Dirt Bike Week at Daytona‚Ä®

Over the past 77 years, the first full week of March in Daytona Beach has meant motorcycles. Starting with the Daytona 200 in 1937, Daytona’s Bike Week has grown into one of the biggest motorcycle rallies in the world, with events taking place over a ten-day period. Most attendees are there to enjoy riding on the streets, but there is a growing contingency of dirt bike and ATV riders that descend on Central Florida to kick off their race seasons. In the midst of Daytona’s 77th Annual Bike Week festivities, there was plenty of racing action.

Elka Service Center Expands In House Operations

Impact Solutions, the official Elka Suspension US service center, is pleased to announce the hiring of 2011 ATV Mechanic of the Year award winner, Casey Greek. Greek will be heading up the ATV suspension and customer service operations as Impact Solutions continues their expansion and completes the move into their new state of the art facility in Little Hocking, OH.

MX Sports and Racer Productions, producers of America’s largest off-road motorcycle and ATV racing series, will host a Women in Racing Conference at Daytona International Speedway on Monday, March 12, in conjunction with Daytona Bike Week. For the first time ever, women involved in all motorsports disciplines will meet together to discuss the current state of women racing in America and together develop a strategic plan for future growth.
